as far as I can find and tell, Lunabar seems to exist in abandonware territory. <\/span><\/p>\n

it’s great little program for windows;; placing the moon position in the taskbar.<\/span><\/p>\n

there has been one issue though, it’s had an error about the Moon Void of Course being out of date. <\/span><\/p>\n

looking at the file, this might’ve been the case since 2010…<\/span><\/p>\n

(I looked for an updated version, I found one guy talking about updating it using astrolog to calculate it. seems to be lost in the process, I don’t know.)<\/p>\n

any ways, I decided to try it myself. with the help of some deepseek guidance.<\/span><\/p>\n

the script took a few rounds of error back & forth to make functional, mostly for working with Moira & Moira-Astro to run the calculations accurately.<\/span><\/p>\n

I figured I’d future proof it so the retro PC interactive display museum computers of 2216’s earth can still have a functional Lunabar.<\/span><\/p>\n

the test run for one year took a few minutes to calculate, so I\u2019m realising it’s gonna take a hot minute to run this thing, as it is now as I type here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alright, so it turns out 2010 to 2222 is too large of a file for lunabar to handle, so i’m trying again in 5-year increments, starting at 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

if it accepts that, i’ll prepare folders of future decades to include in the .zip I share here, so you’ll be set for a long time.<\/span><\/p>\n

So I ran it onward from 2031 to 2112 overnight. (i was feeling that symmetry more than 2222.)<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u00a0kept\u00a0the 1st line as\u00a0+300 like the\u00a0original files\u00a0had, I\u00a0believe it\u00a0sets it\u00a0to\u00a0east coast\u00a0EST\u00a0time.\u00a0leaving it for compatibility’s sake.\u00a0\u00a0it\u00a0fails to start lunabar at all\u00a0when that’s\u00a0empty\u00a0.<\/p>\n

overwrite the original files in your LunaBar installation folder (\u00a0 C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Lunabar\u00a0 )<\/p>\n

you can open them in Notepad like text files to see it if you want to.<\/p>\n
