Last week I had an idea, started the idea, found myself locked in on that idea, and now i’m releasing it for public use. it’s free, and ongoing development.
I made sure to try and feel out all the bugs I could before this release, but I know there’s much more to be found.
I don’t know if anyone is going to use this program, but I really hope its interface design proves inspiring for people to make their maps as they see fit to their needs.
CalenRecall is A self-contained calendar journal application for Windows and macOS that helps you recall memories across decades, years, months, weeks, and days. All your journaling history is stored locally on your device.
It features cross-cultural calendars, so you don’t have to stay on Gregorian, but instead 15+ others to choose from. I ran verification tests to try and be sure they were each aligned in time accurately with each other, as well as their relative “0 AD” epoch year point where years go from positive to negative count.
