From what I\’ve learned about \’narc~etc\’ personality disorders, a lot has to do with Childhood / Past Trauma left unresolved & buried under layers of fear. coping mechanisms normalized to a point of invisibility to one\’s self, even to their detriment. for me part of shadow work was learning to break through my own defensive walls & guard towers {internally speaking} in order to reach the roots of the shadow
